Project description
Establishment of a radio transmission from the
procession system to the church
In spring 2023, the Catholic parish church of St. Laurentius in Otzing received a new procession system from the ZP-43 SLIM/2 X series from the brand Phoenix Professional Audio.
The aim of the church sound system project was to set up a radio transmission from the procession system to the church complex.
Using a new UHF wireless microphone system from “MIPRO” (Phoenix PA is an official MIPRO sales partner) consisting of the analogue diversity wireless receiver ACT-311 (1-channel receiver system) and the matching ACT-32TC UHF bodypack transmitter, the team from PHOENIX Professional Audio configured the portable loudspeaker system ZP-43 SLIM/2 X accordingly on site.
A state-of-the-art digital radio transmission system is installed in the ZP-43 SLIM/2 X procession systems – the latest state of the art:
The digital radio transmission system offers greater security against radio interference, radio noise, etc. than analogue technology. The so-called “pairing” between the radio receiver and radio transmitter (radio microphone) creates a digitally coded, closed “radio bridge” that prevents the “intrusion” of other, unpaired and unapproved radio connections. In addition, the digital radio system offers a selection option of 16 channels with a frequency shift of 500 Hz in the HF spectrum currently in use.
