Expansion of the sound system
In the summer of 2023, the sound system of the late Gothic Parish Church of Mariae Himmelfahrt in Brannenburg in the Rosenheim district of Bavaria was expanded by PHOENIX Professional Audio.
The listed building, which characterizes the townscape with its yellow paintwork and high, pointed church tower, received a new outdoor sound system (including for the area of the surrounding cemetery) and a new radio system.
The analogue DSP automatic mixing amplifier POWERVOICE PV-DSP-1D.7.4X-2U with digital power amplifier (Class-D) and the passive speaker zone switching and volume control panel SW-6 POWER, together with four outdoor speakers K6.5-75IP is the heart of the new outdoor sound system.
The K6.5 series speaker systems, which were manufactured to match the church’s paintwork in the special color “broom yellow” (RAL 1032), are specially developed for outdoor and indoor sound and are equipped with a water barrier. The weatherproof loudspeakers use a two-way system (frequency division at the passive crossover) and deliver high-quality speech and music reproduction.
For flexible use with great freedom of movement, a MIPRO” brand radio system was also installed in the Brannenburg church (Phoenix is an official sales partner of MIPRO Germany GmbH). MIPRO’s high-quality wireless systems offer above-average RF performance and exceptional sound quality.
