Project description
Church sound reinforcement &
Acoustical improvement
In spring 2023, the acoustic system in the St. Vitus branch church in Grucking (municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding) was renewed by the team from PHOENIX Professional Audio.
Among other things, the analog automatic mixer amplifier POWERVOICE PV-DSP-1D.5.2X-2U from the own brand Phoenix Professional Audio was installed.
The numerous setting options of the PV-DSP-1D.5.2X-2U ensure particularly precise room equalization and excellent adaptation to the room acoustics.
The automatic mixer amplifier, specially developed for acoustically challenging buildings such as churches, also has an additional loudspeaker line (100V) with separate volume control and SOFT-START for better loudspeaker protection. In addition, a 2-stage mains filter against external interference (e.g. ringing bells) is built in.
In full operation, the automatic mixer amplifier has an efficiency of over 90% and is therefore particularly energy efficient.
The PHOENIX Professional Audio team also carried out the acoustic measurements and system leveling on site in the St. Vitus church.
