Project description
Church PA
The analog automatic amplification system PV-7E.4 installed in the city church St. Caecilia in Germering has been re-leveled by Phoenix PA. In addition, new MEG gooseneck microphones at the ambo and the priest’s seat and a boundary microphone MPL-2 at the altar were used. The new WS-1000X wireless microphone system was installed in the church for flexible mobile use during the mass.
The analog automatic amplification system PV-7E.4 in the city church of St. Caecilia in Germering was releveled by Phoenix PA in 2017.
In addition, new MEG gooseneck microphones were used at the ambo and priest’s seat and a boundary microphone MPL-2 at the altar.
The new radio system WS-1000X was installed in the church for mobile sound reinforcement during the service.
In 2022, the PA system in the church was expanded: Among other things, a digital DSP automatic mixer amplifier and two active DSP line arrays DIGIVOICE-145.16DSP2 with Beam Steering Technology. This enables electronic controllability of the sound aperture angle and the angle of inclination in the vertical direction, continuously variable in real time, without any mechanical alignment of the speaker systems (tilt). The slim loudspeaker columns have been specially developed for sound transmission in acoustically challenging rooms such as churches and contribute in particular to reverberation reduction in the church of St. Caecilia.
