Project description
Church PA
In autumn 2022, the Evangelical Lutheran Church “Zum guten Hirten” in Altoetting was with equipped with a new sound system by PHOENIX Professional Audio from its own brand Phoenix Professional Audio:
The system amplifier POWERVOICE PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X used in the church is a digital DSP automatic mixer amplifier with DSP4, 2 x digital power amplifier (Class-D), phantom power, HPF filter (100Hz), MIC.-LINE, digital automatic system, audio matrix, conference configuration / priority, dynamic Compressor-Expander-Limiter function, DeEsser and MP3 player with BT receiver.
The high-end automatic mixers of the Phoenix POWERVOICE series are specially developed for use in acoustically demanding buildings (building acoustics).
To provide sound for the large main church space, only four DIGIVOICE-115.8DSP2 and DIGIVOICE-75.8DSP2 digital loudspeaker columns were necessary. The Beam Steering technology used in the DSP Beam Steering Line Arrays enables continuous electronic control of the sound opening angle and tilt angle in the vertical direction in real time, completely without mechanical alignment of the loudspeaker systems (tilt). The slim loudspeaker columns have been specially developed for sound transmission in acoustically challenging rooms such as churches and in particular contribute to reverberation reduction.
In order to enable a Bluetooth connection from the church room to the sound system, the compact MP-MX-3 UP/AP mono preamplifier with SD-USB player module with BT receiver was also installed. The preamp supports all common Bluetooth-enabled devices and enables music to be transferred and played wirelessly from a mobile phone, PC or MP3 player to the MP-MX-3.
A new MIPRO brand radio system also ensures complete flexibility and freedom of movement during church services.
