Project description
Church sound reinforcement
In autumn 2021, the Evangelical Lutheran Church Versoehnungskirche in Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria was equipped by PHOENIX Professional Audio with a new Phoenix Professional Audio private label sound system:
The heart of the new sound reinforcement concept is the digital automatic mixing amplifierPV-DSP-4ACD.9.4 .2X with Class-D power amp. The automatic mixer from Phoenix has been specially developed for sound transmission in acoustically challenging rooms such as churches and is equipped with the latest technologies: The integrated DeEsser dynamically attenuates “SSS” and sibilance and the built-in Compressor-Expander function serves the dynamic processing of audio signals and recordings.
In the Church, the new amplifier ensures more precise room equalization and excellent adaptation to the room acoustics.
The outside sound is provided by speaker systems from the KST series. The speakers use a two-way system (frequency division at the passive crossover) and deliver high quality speech and music reproduction.
A hearing loop was also installed in the church. The Induction loop amplifier ILA-450 was used for this.
The delicate gooseneck microphone MEG-1-300 at the ambo merges with the noble ecclesiastical interior design.
The MPL-3 boundary microphone has been used at the altar. With its high output level and specially tailored frequency response, excellent response time and minimal distortion, the MPL-3 maintains its linear pattern across the entire frequency range, providing high safety from feedback and maximum isolation from unwanted sound sources.
