Project description
Church sound reinforcement
In the summer of 2021, the Evangelical Lutheran Apostle Church in Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria was renovated by PHOENIX Professional Audio by installing a brand new Phoenix Professional Audio own-brand PA system:
A new digital automatic mixing amplifier PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X with Class-D power amplifier, which is equipped with the latest technologies such as DeEsser (dynamic dampening of “SSS” and sibilance), Compressor-Expander and much more, ensures a precise room equalization and excellent adaptation to the room acoustics.
The sound is provided by speaker systems from the K6.5 series, which were specially developed for sound transmission in acoustically challenging rooms such as churches and are equipped with a water barrier. The weatherproof system is ideal for sound reinforcement of indoor and outdoor areas. The speakers use a two-way system (frequency division at the passive crossover) and deliver high quality speech and music reproduction.
A hearing loop was also installed in the church. Therefore, the Induction loop amplifier ILA-450 was used.
The delicate MEG gooseneck microphones on the ambo, the pulpit and on the altar merge with the noble church interior design and ensure perfect speech reproduction thanks to an extremely linear frequency response.
