Project description
Project with
Church PA
On Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020, the Evangelical Lutheran Friedenskirche in Burghausen was reopened after extensive conversion and renovation work.
During the conversion, the PHOENIX Professional Audio team was on hand to offer advice and support during the planning and implementation of the new acoustic system and equipped the Church with a new private label PA system Phoenix Professional Audio from:
The Pre-Amp Mixer AMX-20-DSP-4ACD with Class-D power amplifier ensures more precise room equalization and excellent adaptation to the room acoustics. The preamplifier has been specially developed for professional sound reinforcement tasks in acoustically difficult buildings (building acoustics) and is equipped with the latest technologies.
Loudspeaker sound reinforcement is provided by Phoenix’s newly developed professional active DSP Beam Steering Line Arrays DIGIVOICE-115.8DSP2 (8 channel DSP). The active DIGIVOICE sound columns consist of software-controlled loudspeakers.
Each of the 8 DSP channels has its own Class-D power amplifier.
The independent DSP channels enable individual, very precise speaker control and thus optimal adjustment to the individual acoustic room conditions. State-of-the-art beam steering technology enables in real-time continuous electronic controllability of the sound aperture angle and angle of inclination in the vertical direction, completely without mechanical alignment of the speaker systems (tilt).
As a result, the line arrays can be mounted flat on the wall and thus blend in unobtrusively with the room architecture.
Furthermore, a hearing loop was installed in the church with Induction loop amplifier ILA-450.
The filigree MEX gooseneck microphones on the ambo, the pulpit and on the altar merge with the noble church interior design and ensure a perfect speech reproduction thanks to an extremely linear frequency response.
For the inauguration of the Evangelical Lutheran Friedenskirche in Burghausen, Phoenix Professional Audio also supported the church with a donation for the new organ.
