Project description
Sound system for multi-purpose room
In the summer of 2022, the multi-purpose room of Lebenshilfe Traunstein (Altenmarkt support center) was equipped with a new sound system. At the Altenmarkt support center, people with severe and multiple disabilities find individual employment opportunities.
The team from PHOENIX Professional Audio took over the installation and calibration of the new sound system and contributed its own audio technology (own brand Phoenix Professional Audio) to the project.
A PV-7D.4-2U mixer amplifier was installed with a 21-way EQ for room equalization, a feedback limiter and automatic noise gate (noise suppression when no signal is present).
A small RBA-04-AS5 19″ wall housing with the technology was installed in an adjoining room.
An MP-MX-3 preamplifier with MP3 player and inputs for microphone, CD, PC, etc. was installed in a lockable wall housing in the multi-purpose/common room. The system can be switched on and off from there by specially converting the housing. For this purpose, the surface-mounted housing was equipped with the switch and a socket.
After a successful functional test, the existing loudspeakers in the common room continued to be used.
