Project description
Church acoustics
At the beginning of 2018, the teams from ELA-Technik Karl Wagner and Phoenix PA renewed the sound system of the St. Alban church in Eisenhofen:
The professional K4 series directional sound columns, specially designed for sound transmission in acoustically demanding rooms, blend subtly into the church space thanks to their minimalist-classic design. For the monitoring small K4-10 line loudspeakers in the altar area were installed. The church loudspeakers are powered by the PV-DSP-1D.7.2 Digital Automatic Mixing Amplifier.
The noble interface microphone MPL-2 with gold diaphragm capsule can be placed almost “invisibly” thanks to its very flat construction (mounted horizontally). Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, it can record speech signals perfectly even from a distance, making it ideal as an altar microphone.
A new flexible wireless microphone system was also set up in St. Alban’s church.
