Project description
Church PA
In spring 2020, the Phoenix Professional Audio team renewed the sound system of the parish church of St. Georg in Nussdorf in Salzburger Land in Austria.
The sound reinforcement concept created by Phoenix Professional Audio included the installation of a new digital DSP automatic mixing amplifier POWERVOICE PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X, new church sound columns from the K4 series as well as new church microphones for ambo and altar.
The POWERVOICE PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X is a high-end digital automatic power mixer that has been specially developed for applications in acoustically demanding buildings, such as churches.
The numerous setting options of the PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X ensure even more precise room equalization and excellent adaptation to the room acoustics. The church amplifier is also particularly energy-efficient: when in full operation, the automatic mixer amplifier has an efficiency of over 90%.
The K4 sound columns developed by PHOENIX were specially developed for sound transmission in acoustically difficult rooms with complex acoustics and long reverberation times such as churches and cathedrals.
The Phoenix Professional Audio team, which has been working on church sound reinforcement for many years also took over the assembly/installation as well as the acoustic measurement and system level adjustment on site.
