Project description
Church sound reinforcement
In autumn 2021, the audio system of the listed village church St. Petrus in Schweinersdorf / Freising (Bavaria) was renovated by PHOENIX Professional Audio by the installation of a brand new PA system from the own brand “Phoenix Professional Audio” :
The Pre-Amp Mixer AMX-9-DSP4-ACD used in the church is a digital automatic preamplifier with 8 universal inputs on XLR (MIC/LINE via DIP switches), USB/SD MP3 player with BT receiver, 10 input and 5 output PEQ, audio matrix, de-esser with FULL, SPLIT, AIR functions, delays, feedback limiter and much more.
The one with Compressor-Expander-Limiter function, the automatic preamplifier has been specially developed for professional sound reinforcement tasks in acoustically demanding buildings (building acoustics).
The nave is sounded with DIGIVOICE digital line arrays with beam steering technology, which were specially developed for sound transmission in acoustically difficult rooms with long reverberation times. “Beam Steering” technology enables continuous electronic controllability of the sound aperture angle and angle of inclination in the vertical direction in real time – completely without mechanical alignment of the speaker systems (tilt). In particular, they contribute to reverberation reduction.
Due to its extraordinarily filigree appearance, the elegant microphone stand system MEGZ- 5GS with ground sleeve almost completely merges with the magnificent church interior design.
The team from Phoenix Professional Audio also took over the assembly/installation as well as the acoustic measurement and system level adjustment on site.
A new radio system from the “MIPRO” brand ensures complete flexibility and freedom of movement during the services.
