Project description
New Public address system
The parish hall in Hohenbrunn (Munich district) recently received a new PA system. The team from PHOENIX Professional Audio was not only involved in the installation, leveling and calibration of the new sound system, but also contributed its own audio technology (own brand Phoenix Professional Audio) and wireless systems from the MIPRO brand (Phoenix is the official sales partner).
In the parish hall, six full-range loudspeakers ensure even sound. The loudspeakers are powered by the DSP-controlled digital automatic mixer amplifier POWERVOICE PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X. The automatic mixer is equipped with two Class-D digital power amplifiers, phantom power, HPF filter (100Hz), MIC-LINE, digital automatic system, audio matrix, conference configuration / priority, dynamic Compressor-Expander-Limiter function, DeEsser and MP3 player with BT receiver.
For events in the parish hall that require more bass support, the subwoofer SUB-112 was installed. The powerful bass system is equipped with a 12″ woofer chassis, among other things.
Also installed were 2 WM-600DT digital power amplifiers (600W sinus/100V output and EQ) – to drive the subwoofer and the external loudspeakers – as well as the universally applicable MP-MX-3 mono preamplifier (2 x microphone/1 x LINE with MP3 player module with BT receiver, LF/HF EQ, phantom power), whose separate sound control ensures precise room equalization and best adaptation to the room acoustics.
The outdoor sound (including forecourt) is provided by K6.5-75IP loudspeaker systems with water barrier (75W/100V, aluminum housing, IP65). The 6.5″ broadband loudspeakers use a two-way system (frequency division on the passive crossover) and are highly efficient.
For flexible use with great freedom of movement, the Phoenix team also installed a MIPRO brand radio system in the parish hall. This includes an ACT-74 UHF True Diversity radio receiver (4-channel, 19″ metal housing, LCD display, ACT function) and various UHF handheld and bodypack transmitters from the ACT-700 series. MIPRO’s high-quality wireless systems offer above-average RF performance and exceptional sound quality.
The Phoenix team, which has specialized in professional sound reinforcement tasks in the PA sector for over 20 years, also took on the measurement, leveling, room equalization and programming of the new sound system.
