The digital future
of church acoustics

With over 3,000 visitors and 176 exhibitors spread over 2 halls with a total of around 8,000 m², the international church fair DEVOTIO took place this year from 17 -19 February 2019 in Bologna, Italy. The trade fair, which was founded in 2017, focuses on current trends in products and services for furnishing and equipping churches.

The Phoenix Professional Audio team was also present for the first time and was completely satisfied with the high interest of the trade visitors in the latest products, technologies and services in the field of digital sound systems for churches and sacral buildings

At the booth of Phoenix Professional Audio visitors could discover various church amplifier innovations – among them the two automatic mixing amplifiers PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X and PV-DSP-1ACD.9.4X for multi-zone sound reinforcement and the induction loop amplifier ILA-450 with receiver ILA-E.

Phoenix Professional Audio extends its POWERVOICE portfolio with new energy-efficient fully automatic mixer models with digital power amplifiers CLASS-D for use in sacral buildings with challenging acoustics: The PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.2X and PV-DSP-1ACD.9.4X 4-channel Amplifiers with 400 + 200 watts and 400 watts and features such as compressor / expander and DeEsser are each the most powerful representatives of their series. Other representatives of the new X series are e.g. the digital automatic mixing amplifier PV-DSP-1D.7.4X-2U in the new 2U format. All models in the POWERVOICE-X series have an efficiency of more than 90% when in full operation, making them particularly energy-efficient.
