Project description
Church sound reinforcement
In the summer of 2021, the audio system of church “Sieben Schmerzen Mariens” in Bad Friedrichshall (Baden-Wurttemberg) was renovated by PHOENIX Professional Audio with the installation of a new Phoenix Professional Audio private label sound system:
The POWERVOICE PV-DSP-1ACD.9.4X was used – a digital DSP automatic mixer amplifier with DSP, digital output stage (class D), phantom power, HPF filter ( 100Hz), MIC-LINE, digital automatic system, audio matrix, conference configuration / priority, dynamic Compressor Expander Limiter function, DeEsser and MP3 player with BT receiver.
The professional passive directional sound columns of the K4 series have also been specially developed for use in acoustically demanding buildings. These contribute in particular to reverberation reduction in the church.
MEG gooseneck microphones were used on the pulpit.
