A project with heart: In the summer of 2021, the conference room of the “FUNDACJA IWRD” foundation, an institute for child development in Gdansk / Poland, received a new sound system from PHOENIX Professional Audio. The IWRD Foundation has been offering children with autism spectrum disorders and their families extensive help in various areas of treatment, education and research since 2006.
The Phoenix team donated the audio technology used for the project and is pleased to be able to support the foundation’s wonderful commitment in this way.
The mobile DSP sound system PV-2 LIVE with beam steering technology was used for excellent speech and music reproduction during mobile operations in the conference room. The beam steering technology (electronic sound control) used in the system ensures outstanding sound at live events and music events. The mobile sound system was also supplemented by an extensive wireless microphone system, which ensures complete freedom of movement during lectures, presentations, etc.
Another component of the new sound system is the professional 6-channel mixing preamplifier RMX-6. The mixer is equipped with 6 audio inputs with level control and individual EQ as well as output selector switches for MASTER 1 + 2 and MASTER 1+2 outputs, Matrix 6 IN x 2 OUT.
In order to fix the amplifier technology, an RBA-09-AD5 19″ wall housing was installed in an adjoining room.
An MP-MX-3-19 preamplifier with MP3 player and BT receiver as well as inputs for microphone, CD, PC, etc. was also installed in the wall housing. The preamp is ideal for playing MP3 files (on a USB stick, an SD card or a direct connection via Bluetooth-enabled devices) in the conference room.
With over 30 years of expertise and +3000 projects implemented worldwide, PHOENIX Professional Audio has specialized in the field of professional PA – with a particular focus on church acoustics & public address sound reinforcement.
