Project description
Church PA
In the autumn of 2018, the Phoenix Professional Audio team renewed the PA system of the parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Berglern.
The sonic concept created by Phoenix Professional Audio included i.e. the installation of a new POWERVOICE PV-DSP-1AD.7.2 digital DSP automatic mixer amplifier, new K4-80F passive church sound columns, and new church microphones for ambo and altar.
The Ambo used a MEX-1-500 gooseneck microphone with XLR connector (XLR-MALE) and a hypercardioid with matching MEGZ-2 S microphone base stand. For the altar, the noble, extremely flat boundary microphone MPL-2 was selected. This altar microphone stands out in particular for its high output level and specially tailored frequency response, excellent response time and minimal distortion – even at the highest sound pressure levels.
The Phoenix Professional Audio team, which has been specializing in church PA for many years, has also provided on-site assembly / installation / telecommunications and microphone wiring, as well as on-site acoustic measurement and leveling.
